Why is ghee a non-returnable product?

Ghee is a consumable food product, so returns are not accepted once it has been delivered. We cannot verify how it has been stored or handled after delivery, which is essential for maintaining food safety, hygiene, and product quality. This policy also applies to opened, partially used, or incorrectly ordered products.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged or leaking?

If you receive a damaged or leaking product, inspect it immediately and report the issue within 24 hours of delivery. To be eligible for compensation, you must follow our verification process and submit the required evidence. Claims received after the reporting period may not be accepted.

What are the video requirements for a damage claim?

Record one continuous, unedited video from the sealed package until the product is fully unboxed. The video must clearly show the shipping label, package condition, unboxing process, and any visible leakage or damage. Videos with cuts, pauses, or edits may not be accepted for verification.

Will I receive a refund for a damaged product?

Verified transit damage is compensated through a discount coupon or store credit for your next purchase. We do not issue cash, bank, UPI, or original payment refunds for damaged or leaking products. Compensation is determined after reviewing the submitted evidence and verifying the claim.

How are damage claims reviewed?

Every claim is carefully reviewed by our customer support team using the submitted video and supporting evidence. Minor oiliness caused by temperature changes during transit is considered normal and may not qualify as damage. Claims that are incomplete, fraudulent, or submitted late may be rejected.

Can I Submit Photos Instead of a Video?

No. Clear photographs are helpful but cannot replace the mandatory continuous unboxing video. The video is required to verify that the damage occurred during transit and not after delivery.

Will Opened or Partially Used Products Be Accepted?

No. Products that have been opened, used, consumed, or whose original seal has been broken are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or compensation unless a verified manufacturing defect is confirmed before use. This policy helps maintain food safety and ensures product integrity for all customers.

All Himdhara products are carefully packed and quality-checked before dispatch. Since ghee is a consumable food item, all sales are considered final except in verified cases of transit damage or incorrect product delivery. 2. Product Authenticity & Natural Variations

Our Badri Cow Ghee is hand-churned in small batches using the Vedic Bilona method from free-grazing indigenous cows in the Uttarakhand Himalayas. Because our products are 100% natural and free of artificial additives or stabilisers:

Natural variations in colour, grain structure, and aroma may occur across different seasons (e.g., monsoon vs. winter flora).
Ghee may liquify in warm transit temperatures or solidify into granules in cool conditions; this is a hallmark of pure unadulterated ghee.

3. Order Confirmation & Payment Modes

Orders can be placed using Full Online Payment (UPI, Cards, NetBanking) or Partial Payment + COD (where a small advance of min. 10% / ₹100 is paid online to confirm dispatch, and the remaining amount is collected upon delivery).

4. Pricing & Accurate Information

All prices listed are in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes. Himdhara reserves the right to modify prices, discounts, and product availability without prior notice.

5. Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from purchases or use of this website shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Uttarakhand, India.
